Abstract: The study examined the improvement and learning needs of children in primary schools. The study was carried out in Aguata Education Zone of Anambra State. Two research questions guided the study. The study adopted the descriptive survey design. A total sample size of 80 respondents (teachers) was drawn through simple random sampling technique. The researcher developed 20items structured questionnaire titled: Teachers’ Assessment of Children Development and Learning (TACDL) used for data collection.
