Efforts to improve the quality of education in Indonesia at this time are unceasingly continued by education experts. Based on learning outcomes data obtained by fourth grade Elementary School student of Sawunggaling VIII / 389 in Surabaya City through the application of Problem-based learning models in social studies learning has increased. Classical learning completeness of students has increased by 14.74%. In addition, the development of student learning outcomes on the affective and cognitive aspects also increased.
