Abstract: Micro and small enterprises (MSMEs) are often at risk of becoming victims of counterfeit currency. This study aimed to assess the level of awareness among MSMEs regarding the detection of fake currencies, as well as the frequency with which they encounter counterfeit money in their business transactions. Additionally, the study sought to explore the methods used by these enterprises to dispose of suspicious counterfeit currencies. Employing a descriptive methodology, the research gathered data on awareness levels, the frequency of using counterfeit detection methods, and disposal practices.
