Abstract: PET Plastic containers are the most used way of packaging beverages and other liquids in Kigali due to they are inexpensive, lightweight, strong, durable, corrosion-resistant materials, with high thermal and electrical insulation properties, their diversity of polymers and the versatility of their properties results in many societal benefits. However, their current ways of usage and disposal in Kigali are not sustainable.
