Abstract:
This current study deals with the identification and the confirmation of the Heterometrus swammerdammi morphologically and molecularly from Jaffna peninsula. H. swammerdami is one of the scorpion species belongs to the family Scorpionidae. But, this is not an endemic species to Sri Lanka.
