Agung Sakti Pribadi, Made Warka, Slamet Suhartono
Abstract: Conflict of authority and legal uncertainty related to coastal reclamation in coastal areas and small islands surfaced in almost reclamation activities in the area, especially the implementation of reclamation in the Jakarta Bay. Although the reclamation at Ancol Beach was successful in the 1980s, it does not guarantee that the reclamation will run smoothly and successfully in the era of regional autonomy. Various regulations have emerged that regulate reclamation activities and the authority to manage coastal and small islands. Such a lot of rules actually makes stakeholders more uncertain to use what regulations are in accordance with the interests of their respective regions.
