This study investigated Environmental Sanitation Practices among Traders of Kofar Wambai Market, Kano State of Nigeria. Descriptive survey design was used for the study. Descriptive survey is the one in which a group of people or items are studied by collecting and analyzing data from only few people or items considered to be the representative of the entire group. The researchers adopted descriptive survey method for this study because it enables specific issues to be investigated through information on people’s opinion and beliefs. The population of this study comprised all traders of Kofar Wambai Market, Kano State, estimated to be 20,000, (Tax and Revenue Collection office, 2015). Simple Random Sampling Technique was used and 250 samples were selected to represent the whole population of the market traders.
