Abstract:
Menstruation is the regular intrauterine bleeding of female after puberty. There are various physical and mental paining by menstruation is called dysmenorrhea. Few studies on the yogic exercise shows that certain yoga poses control the stress and pain of dysmenorrhea and has a positive effect if practiced regularly. The stretching also has a reducing effect on pain as stretching is associated with increased endorphin production. Aim of the study: To determine the effect of stretching exercise and yoga asana in relief of pain and improving quality of life.
