Abstract: The integration of GIS and remote sensing was applied to delineate ground water potential zone by interpreting nine thematic layers. The parameters like drainage density, elevation, geology, geomorphology, land use and land cover, lineaments, rainfall pattern, slope gradient and soil texture were used for identification of ground water potential within the study area. The parameters like drainage density, elevation, geology, geomorphology, land use and land cover, lineaments, rainfall pattern, slope gradient and soil texture were used for identification of ground water potential within the study area.
