Abstract: The health of children under the age of five is of paramount importance for the well-being of communities and nations. Diarrheal diseases, a major contributor to morbidity and mortality in this age group, are often linked to inadequate Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) conditions. This article explores the critical connection between WASH and diarrheal diseases among under-fives from a public health perspective, highlighting the importance of addressing these factors to promote child health.
