Listening is one of the five inborn senses of human beings and it is a normal and frequent skill in our daily life. Nevertheless, numerous English majors at academic institutions in Vietnam face problems in listening comprehension. Therefore, the goal of this study is to find solutions to improve English listening comprehension for English majors through the use of audiobooks. The main objectives are to build up a procedure for employing ready-made audiobooks, to evaluate the influence of audiobooks on English majors’ listening comprehension, and to collect feedback from students regarding the benefits and drawbacks of audiobooks as well as possible solutions to promote the use of audiobooks.
