Abstract: It is estimated that 1.1 billion people or 17% of the worlds population still defecate in open areas. Utilization of toilets by the community according to the results of Riskesdas 2018 only reached 76.2%, while 12.9% still defecated. Several studies have shown that education and income are related to the use of latrines by the community. The research examines studies that explain the relationship between education and income with the utilization of latrine. This study used a retrospective observational study, in the sense that the researcher made a recapitulation of facts without doing experimental manipulation. Effect size.
