Abstract: With rapid urbanization and the rising standard of living, more plastic materials are used in cities in China, leading to an increasing quantity of municipal plastic waste (MPW). However, robust information about details for waste plastic management, including plastic composition, plastic waste sources, waste generation, and material recycling，are limited. Using cross-sectional data, this study estimated MPW generation in the Yangtze River Delta (YRD) in China from 2000 to 2018 by employing the environmental logistics regression model.
