Abstract:
Background: Motion sickness occurs due to mismatch sensory inputs between the visual and vestibular system. Vestibular and visual systems coordinate eye movement in order to stabilize retinal images during head rotation. When someone is in stationary position they can still get the impression of self motion under certain conditions known as vection.
