Military Role in the Nigerian Constitution: An Exposé of law and Security Impact on Development

Nigeria’s 195 million population security situation currently is enormous and the growing insecurity requires the imperative to investigate and identify its sources and causes with the guide of the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999 constitutional provision of the law and the statutory role of the military and national security agencies. In Nigeria, the law has ceased to act as a deterrent since corruption and insecurity have largely been compromised.
